Leagues:

Monday evening Women’s League: 8-end games with teams of four members chosen by Skips from the pool of players registered for this league. Intended for women players who wish to curl on women’s teams and play against other women’s teams.  Games scheduled for 7:00 pm.

Wednesday evening Open League: 8-end games with teams of four members chosen by Skips from the pool of players registered for this league. Games scheduled for 6:30 and 8:30 pm.

Tuesday/Thursday evening Open League: 8-end games with teams of four members chosen by Skips from the pool of players registered for this league. Teams usually play one game per week and may play on either Tuesday or Thursday according to the draw schedule. Games scheduled for 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

Weekend evening Mixed League: 8-end games with teams typically comprised of both men and women and may be entered as a team of four or couples or individuals and compiled by the draw Committee from those registering for this league. Teams usually curl once a weekend on either Friday or Saturday evening according to the draw schedule.  This is our primary “Broomstacking” event. Games scheduled for Fri 7:00 pm and Sat 5:30 and 7:30pm.

Not Available: Sunday evening “Choose your Team” 8-end games with teams of four members. It is intended as our most challenging League. Experienced curlers are welcome to enter a full team of their choice rather than have the skips choose players from the pool of registered players. Partial teams and individuals without a full team are welcome to register to play but cannot be guaranteed that they may be compiled into a team. Games tentatively scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Sunday afternoon Open League: 6-end games with teams of four players. It is available to teams or individual players without restriction. Last year new, experienced and curling families made this a very popular option. Teams typically play at either 1:00 pm or 2:30 pm with the time potentially varying each week.

Saturday morning Doubles: 6-end games played with 2 players on each team. It is a competitive game where accuracy and strategy are quickly developed. Games start at 8:00, 9:15, and 10:30 am. Both teams of two and individuals are welcome to register.

Not Available:  Rookie League: 4 to 6-end games with four-member teams compiled by the Draw Committee. It is available to all players and new curlers are not limited to this league nor required to play in it. It is intended as a developmental option to allow a curler to step up to the next level and experience being “in the house” and calling the shots as the Skip. Experienced players participate and share their perspective on strategy and discuss shots, sweep calls and the subtle aspects that make Curling such a tremendous game. Please note the New Day and Time — Sunday 11:30am to 1pm chosen to expand the participation in this very valuable opportunity for all players.

Junior League is for new and experienced Curlers under the age of 18 years old. Junior Curlers with experience and the Instructor’s consent are also allowed to participate in other Leagues and are strongly encouraged to play in this League. Games tentatively scheduled for noon to 3:00 pm.

Substitution: Players who have paid their Annual Membership Dues and registered (and paid) to curl in any League are eligible to be included on the “Substitute List” for any League(s) that they choose, without paying any additional fees. Paid members who choose not to register for any League can pay the “Substitute Fee” to become eligible to be included on the “Substitute List” for any League(s) that they choose. Substitutes are eligible to play in multiple Leagues of their choosing but are not guaranteed that they will ever be chosen to play.

Players who register but are not placed on a team would have their League fee refunded.

Please note that Game Start and Finish Times may be adjusted in response to various scheduling demands.

Players are responsible to notify their Skip and obtain a substitute whenever they will be unable to play a scheduled match.
