2014 Racine Mixed Bonspiel – Feb 7-9, 2014

Please sign-up for the Racine Curling Club’s annual Mixed bonspiel being held February 7-9, 2014.  Join us for a great weekend of fun, food and curling.  Includes Saturday night dinner dance with a great live band for dancing.

Registration fee: $250 per team. 16-team limit.

8-end draws, 3-game guarantee, meals throughout the weekend and an open bar! Pins will be given out for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th events.

2012 Racine Men’s Bonspiel – Nov 2-4, 2012

Congratulations to all twelve teams for a terrific tournament!  The food was great, the curling fantastic and the fun never stopped.

The First Event was won by Exmoor in a close game over Shady Thicket.

The Third Event was won by Wauwatosa in a struggle with Racine.

Finally, the Fourth Event was a hometeam battle with Racine’s Erdman rink (Keith Erdman, Bob Ryals, Zach Schemming, Brian Rasmussen) defeating Racine’s Dry Rink (Mike Dry, Steve Thery, Bob Miers, Bob Johnson).  Notably, Brian had joined the Racine Curling Club just a few days earlier and this bonspiel was the first curling he had ever done!  Way to go Brian!

And we were delighted to see a strong showing from Shady Thicket.  After receiving this photo from a bar in Florida, you can understand our concern:
